✏️ Review Form Text Customisation #
Misc Settings is a lightweight customisation page for the review form’s UI text. All eight fields control the visible labels, button text, and input placeholder copy that appears in the review submission and reply forms on your site’s frontend. Every field is optional. Leave any field empty to keep the plugin’s built-in default text. There is no wrong answer here — these are cosmetic settings only and have no effect on schema markup output or SEO.
ℹ️ Prerequisite — Enable Review must be ON
These settings only affect the frontend review form. The form is only visible and functional when Enable Review is turned ON in Settings › General (Step 1).

All Fields at a Glance #
All fields are optional — leave blank to use the built-in default text. Fill in only the fields where you want to override the default wording.

|---|---|---|---|
| Reply title | “Reply” | Your site language is not English, or you want a different heading label for reply forms. | “Répondre” / “Antwort” / “Write a Reply” |
| Cancel Reply Link Text | “Cancel reply” | Your brand tone uses different phrasing, or you are translating the form for a non-English audience. | “Go back” / “Annuler” / “Abbrechen” |
| Submit Button Label | “Submit” | You want a more action-oriented label, or the form is in another language. | “Post Review” / “Send Feedback” / “Soumettre” |

| 🌐 Using Misc Settings for multilingual sites If your site serves visitors in multiple languages and you use a translation plugin (such as WPML, Polylang, or TranslatePress), you can set the Misc Settings fields to the primary language of your site here. For secondary languages, use your translation plugin’s string translation feature to override these values per language — SchemaEngine AI’s text strings are translation-ready. |
| 💡 All fields fall back to defaults when empty You do not need to fill in every field. SchemaEngine AI uses sensible built-in defaults for all eight fields. Only customise the ones where the default wording does not fit your site’s language, tone, or branding. Saving with empty fields will not break anything — the plugin silently uses its defaults. |
💾 Save Changes
After updating any field, click the Save Change button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. All Misc Settings are saved together in a single action.
